How to Make Immune Boosting Tonic, Fire Cider

Use seasonal ingredients to maximise nutritional value.

Equipment:

1 large jar

Ingreidents:

Organic, raw apple cider vinegar

Horseradish root

Onion

Garlic cloves

Ginger

Tumeric root

Beetroot

Chilli

Lemon

Thyme

Sage

Rosemary

Bay

Peppercorns

Lavender

Rosehips

Any other medicinal herbs/spices you may like.

Method:

Chop all ingredients and layer - Make sure to keep the skins on the onions, garlic, tumeric, ginger - Basically keeping everything as β€˜whole’ as possible.

Cover with apple cider vinegar, then seal in an airtight mason jar.

Leave to infuse for at least six weeks, then strain.
